How crop image works
Crop away edges or isolate a subject with exact pixel coordinates. Start X and Start Y mark the top-left position of the rectangle; crop width and height determine how much of the source is retained. This is useful for precise cutouts when you know the required dimensions.
The browser reads only the selected rectangle and draws it into a new canvas. Values that extend beyond the source are rejected instead of producing a misleading blank border. For a centered crop, subtract your desired width from the source width and divide by two for Start X, then do the same with height.

- Process and download the output. Keep the original as a backup.
Formats and limits
The selected rectangle must fit inside the source image. Input decoding depends on your browser. Files are limited to 25 MB each and 40 megapixels to protect browser memory.
Privacy
The processing code runs locally in your browser. This tool does not upload the selected image to Do The IMG. Avoid sharing downloaded files if they contain sensitive content.
