How pdf to image works
Turn a PDF page into a PNG when you need a visual preview, social post reference or raster image for a presentation. The browser renders each page and offers a separate PNG download. This works best for short, reasonably sized documents with no password protection.
A local PDF rendering library reads the selected PDF in your browser and paints pages onto canvas elements. Each rendered page is encoded as PNG. The output contains pixels rather than selectable text, and rendering at higher scale increases both sharpness and memory use.

Formats and limits
Password protected and very large PDFs may need more browser memory. Text becomes pixels in the output. Input decoding depends on your browser. Files are limited to 25 MB each and 40 megapixels to protect browser memory.
