About Image Color Palette
Extract a useful set of colors from a photograph or graphic. Extract representative colors to guide a theme, mood board or presentation.
How the browser tool works
The browser samples source pixels and groups similar colors into a compact palette. Changing sample options can shift the result, especially for photos with small bright accents. Files are processed in the browser workspace; compare the preview and the actual downloaded result.
How to use it
- Choose a supported source file in the workspace above.
- Adjust the available options and inspect the preview or settings.
- Process the image and examine the downloaded file at its intended size before publishing.
Limits and privacy
A sampled palette is an approximation, not a full color analysis.
The workspace works locally in your browser; selected source images are not sent to this site's application server. Some features load third-party code from a CDN, and large images may run out of device memory. Keep a backup of your original.
Questions about Image Color Palette
Is every color in the image included?
No. The palette is a summary of sampled colors, not a complete inventory of every pixel.
Does it change my source file?
No. The browser creates a separate result for download. Keep the original if you may need another adjustment.
