How to split an image online?

Is it safe to split my private photos here?

How the browser tool works

The selected row and column settings determine pixel boundaries; each region is copied to a new canvas for download. If source dimensions do not divide evenly, inspect edge tiles. Files are processed in the browser workspace; compare the preview and the actual downloaded result.

Limits and privacy

Cuts at exact pixel boundaries can leave uneven last tiles.

The workspace works locally in your browser; selected source images are not sent to this site's application server. Some features load third-party code from a CDN, and large images may run out of device memory. Keep a backup of your original.

Questions about Split Image

Does splitting improve image quality?

No. Tiles contain subsets of the original pixels and cannot add missing detail.

Does it change my source file?

No. The browser creates a separate result for download. Keep the original if you may need another adjustment.
